Norton Commando 961
- Norton has announced the price for its Commando 961 that will be £15,995. The first Norton Commando 961 bike of this legendary British motorcycle brand is expected to be built at the end of July.
- Currently, Norton is owned by Stuart Garner that bought this brand from the previous American owner Kenny Greer. Norton Commando 961 is the first bike for the newly-British owned firm.
- Norton boss Stuart Garner has confirmed: “Final tooling is just being signed off now and we hope to get the first pre-production bikes built up shortly. The price has been set at £15,995 for the Commando and we will be contacting the 7000 or so people who expressed an interest. He also added: “If they wish to pursue the purchase we will be asking for a 10 per cent deposit.”
